Remove hardware: Remove any hardware, such as handles, knobs, and hinges, from the doors and set them aside. This will make it easier to paint and will give you a smoother finish.
Clean and sand the surfaces: Use a mixture of warm water and mild soap to clean the trim and doors. Once they are dry, sand them down to remove any rough or uneven areas. Wipe away any dust with a clean cloth.
Protect the surrounding surfaces: Use painter's tape to protect any areas you don't want to paint, such as walls, windows, and floors.
Prime the surfaces: If we're painting over a dark color or a glossy finish, we may need to prime the trim and doors first. This will help the new paint adhere better and cover more evenly.
Paint the trim and doors: We Use a small paintbrush or a foam roller for tight corners and a larger roller for larger surfaces. We start by painting the trim, including baseboards, window and door frames, and crown molding. Then, paint the doors, starting with the panels and working your way to the edges.
Touch up and clean up: Once the paint is dry, we remove the painter's tape and touch up any areas that need it. Then, clean your brushes and rollers and put away your painting supplies.
