Dry Time: We allow for ample time for the fence to dry after having been washed. This takes hours or even days. A moisture meter is used to ensure that the substrate does not contain too much moisture to stain or paint. It is important to allow for this before doing any fence staining or painting.
Apply the paint or stain: We use a brush, roller, or a pad applicator to apply the paint or stain to the deck. We are sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions for drying time before applying a potential second coat. Some stains do not allow for two coats as they are self repellent.
