Set up the pressure washer. This will involve assembling the hose, attaching the nozzle, and adding any necessary detergents or cleaning solutions to the pressure washer.
We take the time to choose the right pressure setting. It is important to choose the right pressure setting for the surface that is being cleaned. A higher pressure setting can damage softer materials such as wood or brick, so we are sure to start with a lower pressure setting and gradually increase the pressure if needed.
Then we test the pressure washer on a small, inconspicuous area. This will allow us to see the results of the pressure washer and make any necessary adjustments before proceeding with the entire surface.
We begin pressure washing the surface. Starting at the top of the surface and working our way down, overlapping passes to ensure that we cover the entire area evenly. We are sure to hold the nozzle about 12 inches away from the surface and keep it moving to avoid damaging the surface.
Rinse off the surface. Once we have finished pressure washing, we use the pressure washer to rinse off the surface to remove any remaining dirt or soap.
We are sure to use the correct chemicals for the process. For instance, if you are not in need of a paint job, it is important to not use chemicals that may break the paint job down.
If we are painting your home, after pressure washing, we allow the surface to dry completely before beginning the paint job. This can take several hours or even a full day, depending on the humidity and temperature. It is important to make sure the surface is completely dry to ensure that the paint adheres properly.
